Scope and content: Panoramic view of the city from the hill of the Byzantine Castle (Koulas). Μany tobacco warehouses, the Bezesteni (old indoor market), the Eski Mosque, the Mehmet Mosque (Hagia Sofia) and the National Bank can be seen in the photo.Quite obvious is also the bareness of the town that has not yet been rebuilt since the disaster of 1913. In the background the today dried lake of Ahinos can be seen. Undated, possible around 1925-1929.
